Franklin County Jail Roster Records
The official Franklin County jail roster is hosted on the RPS/Relativity roster system and is branded for the Franklin County Sheriffs Office. It is a live list, not a text-search database. The roster separates current inmates, new inmates booked in the last 48 hours, and recent releases from the last 48 hours. That structure matters because a person may be absent from the current tab but still appear in a recent booking or release tab after bond, court order, transfer, or a short local sentence.
The roster covers people held by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office at the local jail. It can include arrests by the sheriff, Ozark Police Department, Arkansas Probation Parole, and other agencies that bring or hold a person in county custody. It is not the Arkansas prison locator, the federal prison locator, or an immigration custody search. If the roster shows a phrase such as "Sentenced to ADC" or "hold for another agencies," the next lookup may involve the Arkansas DOC locator, VINE, a court record, or the agency that placed the hold.
The Franklin County roster screenshot below comes from the live current-inmates tab. The source page is the Franklin County current inmates roster.
The screenshot shows why Franklin County inmate records must be searched by tab, sort controls, page size, and visible names instead of a standard keyword box.
Use Franklin County Roster Controls
The Franklin County inmate records page on RPS starts with visible roster controls. Use Current Inmates if the person may still be in custody. Use New Inmates when the arrest was recent and the booking may have just cleared intake. Use Recent Releases when someone was listed earlier but has disappeared from the current custody tab. For a longer list, change Select Page Size before deciding the person is not there.
- Open the Franklin County roster and start on Current Inmates for an active custody check.
- Switch Sort By to Name when scanning for a known person, or Arrested Date when the booking date is the best clue.
- Use Select Name only after the name appears in the roster list for the tab being viewed.
- Change Select Page Size to 20 or 30 so fewer entries are hidden behind paging.
- Check New Inmates and Recent Releases if the arrest, bond, release, or transfer happened within the last 48 hours.
- Call the Franklin County Jail at 479-667-4127 if the record is missing, unclear, or tied to a hold.
The roster has no visible login, fee, account requirement, or CAPTCHA in the research capture. It also has no last-name text box. Users should not expect to type a name and get a direct search result. Franklin County inmate records in this system are found by moving through the list and using the roster's tab and sorting controls.
Franklin County Roster Search Fields
The roster controls are simple but specific. They are useful when the list is long, yet they can give a false negative if a user treats them like a search box. The Select Name menu changes as people enter and leave custody. The Current Inmates page observed during research showed a live custody count, while the New Inmates and Recent Releases pages used the same 48-hour window language.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |

| New Inmates | Tab or link | No | Shows inmates booked in the last 48 hours. |
| Recent Releases | Tab or link | No | Shows inmates released in the last 48 hours. |
| Sort By | Control | No | Observed options include Arrested Date and Name. |
| Select Name | Dropdown | No | Lists names visible in the selected roster tab. |
| Select Page Size | Dropdown | No | Observed options include 10, 20, and 30. |
| App Store / Google Play | Outbound links | No | Links to the RPS-Inmate Info vendor app, not a Franklin County sheriff-specific app. |
Note: A blank roster result does not prove there is no custody record; it may mean the person is not fully booked, already released, transferred, restricted, or held elsewhere.
Franklin County Inmate Record Fields
A Franklin County roster entry is strongest for booking facts. It shows the photo, basic demographic line, arrest date and time, arresting agency, and charge text. It is weaker for bond and court detail. The research capture found hidden HTML references for bond and court-date grids, but sampled public entries did not show bond amounts, court dates, housing unit, or booking number. Those questions should move to the jail phone line or Search ARCourts.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Mugshot / booking photo | Public booking photo displayed beside the inmate entry. |
| Name | Full inmate name shown as the roster heading. |
| Race/Sex/Age | Combined demographic line, such as race, sex, and age. |
| Address | Usually city and state, not a full street address. |
| Arrested | Booking or arrest date and time shown on the roster card. |
| Arrested By | Agency such as the sheriff, city police, or Arkansas Probation Parole. |
| Charges | Booking charge text, holds, sentence labels, or failure-to-appear wording. |
| Released | Release date and time when an entry appears in recent-release views. |
| Bond / Court Date | Not visibly populated in sampled public entries. |
| Housing / Booking Number | Not visible in sampled public entries. |
Franklin County Jail Contact
When the roster does not answer the question, the Franklin County Jail is the direct local custody contact. The current Franklin County sheriff page lists Sheriff Johnny Crocker, Chief Deputy Jonathon Little, Jail Administrator Kateessa McClain, and the same central non-emergency phone number for sheriff and jail questions. No sheriff-specific online FOIA form, local bond payment page, or complete jail visitation schedule was located in the research file.

Official public lobby hours were not posted in the county source located.
Use the phone line for current custody, bond status, visitor eligibility, mail format, booking records that are not visible online, and agency holds. Arkansas FOIA gives Arkansas citizens a public-record inspection and copying path unless an exemption applies, but Franklin County did not post a sheriff records fee schedule or processing time in the sources reviewed.
Franklin County Booking Records
Franklin County booking records begin when an arrestee is processed into the jail. The roster shows enough of that intake event to confirm local custody and the arresting agency. A person may be booked after an arrest by the Franklin County Sheriff's Department, Ozark Police Department, a local police agency, Arkansas Probation Parole, or another agency that places a hold. The roster can appear before a full court case is visible in Search ARCourts.
The normal flow is arrest, transport to the jail, legal-basis check, property and contraband screening, booking photo, charge entry, classification, and then bond or first-appearance activity. Franklin County District Court planning references felony bond hearings and jail arraignment. That means the jail record and the court record can develop at different times. For filed charges and court dates, use Search ARCourts after the booking appears.
Custody flow: Arrest > booking > roster entry > first appearance or bond review > release, continued county custody, agency hold, or state transfer.
Franklin County Jail Visit Records
Franklin County does not publish a complete official visitation schedule on the county sheriff page located during research. That gap should be treated as a real access limit. Before traveling to the jail, call 479-667-4127 and confirm the person's current custody status, visit eligibility, visitor list rules, identification rules, minor visitor rules, and whether a lockdown or court transport affects the visit.
| Visit Type | Schedule | Source Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| In-person public visitation | Not published in official county source located | Research gap | Confirm with Franklin County Jail before traveling. |
| Video visitation | Not published in official county source located | Research gap | No official video vendor was found. |
| Attorney visits | Not published in official county source located | Research gap | Attorney access may follow different rules. |
| Holiday or lockdown visits | Not published in official county source located | Research gap | Call the jail for the current rule. |
Mail rules were also not posted in detail. The county page lists the mailing address as P.O. Box 233, Ozark, AR 72949. Because the sampled roster does not show a booking number, ask the jail whether the envelope needs the full booking name, an inmate ID, a housing unit, a return address, or a legal-mail label.
Franklin County Custody Fallbacks
Franklin County inmate records can leave the local roster for several reasons. A person may bond out, be released by court order, serve a short sentence, transfer to Arkansas DOC, be held for another agency, enter federal pretrial custody, or be in immigration custody. The county roster is the first source for local jail custody, but it is only one part of the lookup chain.
| Custody Situation | Where to Look | Best Use |
|---|---|---|
| Current county jail custody | Franklin County RPS roster | Current inmates, new bookings, recent releases, charges, photos. |
| Sentenced Arkansas prison custody | Arkansas DOC inmate locator | ADC number, facility, offense, and state custody status. |
| Custody notifications | VINELink or 1-800-510-0415 | Release, transfer, court, DOC, and supervision alerts. |
| Sentenced federal custody | BOP inmate locator | Federal inmates and BOP records from 1982 forward. |
| Immigration detention | ICE ODLS | Adult ICE custody or CBP custody over 48 hours. |
The roster vendor also links to the RPS-Inmate Info app and its Google Play listing. Research found it to be a vendor app for RPS roster systems, not a Franklin County sheriff-branded app and not an app-only warrant search.
Request Franklin County Jail Records
For a booking record, jail log entry, or mugshot that is not visible online, contact the sheriff's office as the local custodian. A useful request identifies the record sought, the person's full name, approximate arrest date, arresting agency if known, and preferred copy format. Ask for any fee estimate before copies are made because Franklin County did not publish a sheriff records fee table in the research file. For photo-specific access and retention limits, use Franklin County jail roster mugshots.
Arkansas Code section 25-19-105 is the main public-record inspection and copying statute. It does not make every jail document public in every setting. Juvenile records, medical information, sealed court records, active investigations, victim data, and safety or security information may be limited. For formal court charges after a booking, use Franklin County court records after jail arrest rather than treating the roster as the final case record.
Note: Roster charges are booking labels; a prosecutor may later file, amend, reduce, or dismiss court charges in a separate case record.
