Franklin County Jail Mugshots

The Franklin County public roster displays mugshots and booking photos beside inmate entries. Research confirmed photos on the Current Inmates, New Inmates, and Recent Releases roster areas. The roster is hosted on the RPS/Relativity platform for the Franklin County Sheriffs Office. It is the official online photo path found for local jail custody, and it is more reliable than private reposting sites because it connects the photo to the live county custody record.

Franklin County jail mugshots are not proof of guilt. They are intake photos connected to booking. The roster also shows name, race, sex, age, address city and state, arrest date and time, arresting agency, charges, and a release timestamp when the record is in a release view. The sampled entries did not show multiple photo angles, historical photo archives, booking number, bond amount, housing unit, or court date.

The recent-release tab matters because it can show a booking photo after current custody ends, but the researched public window was limited to the roster's 48-hour release view.

Where Franklin County Publishes Photos

Franklin County booking photos should be checked in three official roster locations. The Current Inmates tab is for people still listed in local jail custody. The New Inmates tab is for people booked in the last 48 hours. The Recent Releases tab is for people released in the last 48 hours.

1. Open the Current Inmates tab if the person may still be held at Franklin County Jail.
2. Use Sort By Name or Arrested Date, then increase the page size to see more entries.
3. Check New Inmates when the arrest happened recently and the booking may be new.
4. Check Recent Releases when the person disappeared from the current roster or may have bonded, transferred, or served short time.
5. Call Franklin County Jail at 479-667-4127 if the photo is not online or the status is unclear.
6. Use an Arkansas FOIA request to the sheriff for a booking photo that is no longer visible, unless a restriction applies.

The roster does not provide a general mugshot archive by year or an old-booking photo search. It also does not show a sheriff-branded photo app. The RPS-Inmate Info app linked from the roster is a vendor app for RPS systems, not a Franklin County sheriff-specific mugshot tool. Franklin County Booking Photo Fields

The booking photo appears with enough data to identify the roster entry and its custody context. For Franklin County jail mugshots, the surrounding fields are just as important as the image. They show whether the entry is current, newly booked, or recently released, and they give the arresting agency and charge text that may later be compared with court records.

Are Franklin County Mugshots Public

No separate Arkansas statute was located in the research file that broadly bans all preconviction booking-photo publication, and Franklin County's public roster displays photos. That does not mean every photo must stay online forever or that every request must be granted without review.

Franklin County Mugshot Retention

The confirmed online photo windows are the live current-inmate roster and the 48-hour new-inmate and recent-release tabs. The Franklin County roster did not publish a separate mugshot retention policy, old-photo archive, or removal schedule. Do not assume that a booking photo remains public for weeks, months, or years based only on the live roster. Also do not assume that a missing photo means no arrest or booking occurred.

A recent-release listing can reflect bond, court-order release, transfer, completion of local time, or "Sentenced to ADC" style movement. 1. Identify the record as a booking photo or mugshot from Franklin County Jail.
2. Give the person's full name, approximate arrest date, and arresting agency if known.
3. Ask whether the photo is still on the roster or must be handled as a public-record request.
4. Request a fee estimate and processing time before copies are made.
5. Use the court clerk if a sealing order or certified court document is needed.

Arkansas FOIA requests can be made through practical channels such as in person, mail, telephone, fax, email, or other electronic means provided by the custodian. Other requesters should ask the custodian how the office handles the request because the Arkansas statute is written around Arkansas citizens' access rights.

Franklin County Mugshot Removal

Franklin County did not publish a separate mugshot removal policy in the sources reviewed. If a case is dismissed, sealed, or otherwise resolved in a way that changes public access, the supported route is the court process first. If a Franklin County booking photo is connected to a federal or immigration hold, the county roster may still show the local booking while the hold exists. Once custody changes, the right lookup depends on who has custody, not on where the original arrest occurred.
